CiteSpace-based Visualization Analysis of the Current Status and Hotspots of Stroke Research in Middle-Aged and Young Adults

Abstract: Objective To visualize and analyze the current status, hotspots and trends of research on stroke in young and middle-aged people in the past 30 years with the help of CiteSpace software. Methods The CNKI database was used as the search source, and CiteSpace 6.2.R4 visual analysis software was used to visualize and analyze the studies on stroke in young and middle-aged people in the past 30 years, exploring the number of publications, authors, institutional distribution, and keywords of related studies. Results 891 articles were included, and the author with the highest posting volume was Zhenxiang Zhang, and the School of Nursing and Health of Zhengzhou University is an important institution for stroke in young and middle-aged people, and the main research hotspots are the risk factors, etiology, and typology of stroke in young and middle-aged people. Conclusion This study provides a series of summaries and generalizations of the current stage of research progress on stroke in young and middle-aged people, providing researchers with valuable information that is effective and can be used quickly.
