Abstract: Objective To explore the comprehensive effectiveness of the maternal and infant home care model based on Rogers' holistic human theory model. Method This study selected 110 maternal and child families from a tertiary hospital from July 2024 to December 2024 as research subjects. They were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group using a random number table method, with 55 cases in each group. The control group used the traditional maternal and child care service model, while the observation group used a home care model carefully constructed based on Rogers' holistic human theory model. Compare and analyze the incidence of maternal and infant complications, psychological status scores, satisfaction, and other indicators between the two groups. Result The incidence of postpartum infection, mastitis, and neonatal umbilical cord infection in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). In the pre admission anxiety self-assessment scale (SAS) and depression self-assessment scale (SDS) evaluations, there was no statistically significant difference between the observation group and the control group; In the 30 day postpartum assessment, the SAS and SDS scores of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group (P<0.05); The satisfaction rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The maternal and infant home care model constructed and applied based on Rogers' holistic human theory model can accurately and comprehensively meet the physiological, psychological, social and other multidimensional needs of mothers, infants and their families, and has outstanding clinical practice value and broad prospects for application.
