Research Status of Zhu Lian's Acupuncture and Moxibustion Based on Citspace Visualization

Abstract: Objective To explore the research status, hotspots and development trend of Zhu Lian acupuncture by bibliometrics, in order to provide reference for clinical and scientific research. Methods The relevant literature on Zhu Lian acupuncture was retrieved from CNKI, Wanfang and VIP from its establishment to February 28, 2023. Based on the inclusion and exclusi on criteria, the knowledge map of authors, research institutions and key words was drawn and analyzed by CiteSpace 6.1. R 3 software after the literature screening. Results A total of 123 related articles were included. The author with the highest number of publications is Pan Xiaoxia, and a research team with this as its core has been formed in this field; There are 8 institutions with a publication volume of≥5 articles and there are not close connections between institutions; Keywords co occurrence and emergent discovery acupuncture and moxibustion therapy and its application in stroke, polycystic ovary syndrome and cervical spondylotic radiculopathy are research hotspots, while there are relatively few studies related to non high-frequency keywords such as sex hormone, malondialdehyde, apoptosis, etc. Keyword clustering found that diversified intervention methods such as pressing needle, Shen's awn needle, and Zhuang medicine thread moxibustion are the current development trend; Acupuncture and moxibustion prescription (newly set points) and mechanism of action (sex hormones) are also the objects of concern. Conclusion Zhu Lian's researchers and institutions in the field of acupuncture and moxibustion research should strengthen cross regional cooperation; At present, the research mainly focuses on clinical research, and the basic research related to Zhu Lian's acupuncture and moxibustion is relatively insufficient. In the future, basic research should be strengthened; In addition, the research on acupuncture and moxibustion prescription and joint intervention mode may be the future development trend.
