Effect of Floating Needle Therapy on Urination and Pain in Patients with Acute Urinary Retention after Hemorrhoid Surgery

Abstract: Objective To explore the clinical application of floating needle therapy in patients with acute urinary retention after hemorrhoid surgery, and analyze the effect of this therapy on the urination and pain of patients with acute urinary retention after hemorrhoid surgery. Methods 90 patients with acute urinary retention after hemorrhoid surgery in Tai'an Traditional Chinese Medicine hospital from January 2020 to December 2022 were selected as the research objects. All patients were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group according to the method of random number table. There were 45 patients in each group. The control group was treated with conventional clinical treatment. On the basis of this treatment, the observation group was treatment outcomes, and the urination and pain before and after treatment were compared between the two groups;compare the improvement of quality of life and negative emotions between the two groups before and after treatment. Results After comparison, it was found that the observation group had a better effect on urination treatment than the control group (P<0.05). The degree of pain in the observation group after treatment was lighter than that in the control group (P<0.05). The improvement of quality of life in the observation group after treatment was better than that in the control group (P<0.05). The improvement of negative emotions in the observation group after treatment was better than that in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion For patients with acute urinary retention after hemorrhoid surgery, floating needle therapy can be implemented for patients on the basis of conventional treatment. This therapy can improve the urination of patients, alleviate the physiological pain of patients, improve the quality of life of patients, and alleviate the impact of diseases on the psychological status of patients. It is worth applying in the prevention and treatment of urinary retention in hemorrhoid surgery.
