Abstract: The Medical Cases of Wu Peiheng is a summary of the lifelong clinical experience of Mr. Wu Peiheng, a representative doctor of the Fuyang School, and reflects the essence of Wu's academic thought. The nine cases of plague in the section of medical cases are typical of his treatment of various stages of plague based on the theory of yin and yang in the Nei Jing, the six meridians system of identification in the Treatise on Typhoid and Miscellaneous Diseases, and the theory of epidemic transmission in the Treatise on Plague, using the classic prescriptions of Dayuan Drinking, Bai Hu Tang, Cheng Qi Tang, and Sheng Yi San. The purpose of this paper is to analyze and summarize the plague cases systematically and thoroughly, and to provide ideas for the identification and treatment of plague diseases in Chinese medicine at present.
