"Shuli Shaoyang" Acupuncture Treatment of Cervical Vertigo in 30 Cases

Abstract: Objective To apply the acupuncture method of "Shuli Shaoyang" to treat cervical vertigo and observe its clinical efficacy. Methods A total of 30 patients with cervical vertigo who were treated in the Department of Acupuncture and Rehabilitation of Huzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Zhejiang Province from June 2021 to December 2021 were treated by acupuncture method of "Shuli Shaoyang". Acupuncture points: Wind Pool, Head Linweep, Bone Finish, Tianzhu, Hegu, Lieque, Neiguan, Quchi, Zusanli. The Cervical Vertigo Symptoms and Function Assessment Scale (ESCV), Vertigo Disorder Rating Scale (DHI), and detected blood ET-1, CGPR, and NPY levels were recorded before, after, and after treatment. Results After 4 weeks of treatment and 3 months after follow-up after the end of treatment, the score of the Symptoms and Function Assessment Scale (ESCV) of cervical vertigo was higher, the vertigo disorder rating scale (DHI) was lower , the detected ET-1 and NPY were lower than the previous one, and the CGPR was significantly higher than before (P<0.05). Conclusion "Shuli Shaoyang" acupuncture can regulate related vasoactive factors, and clinically significantly improve the symptoms of cervical vertigo.
