Abstract: Objective To explore the application effect of midwifery care in maternal childbirth. Methods A total of 62 primiparous women who visited Heze Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from June 2021 to August 2024 were selected as the research subjects, and they were divided into control group and observation group by random number table, with 31 cases in each group. The control group was given routine care mode, and the observation group was given responsibility-assisted delivery care mode. The labor time, perineal condition and postpartum bleeding at 2 h were compared between the two groups. Results The time of labor, lateral perineal resection rate, degree of perineal fissure, and postpartum bleeding at 2 h in the observation group were lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Compared with the application of routine nursing and midwifery nursing, the midwifery system can effectively shorten the labor process, protect the perineal situation and reduce the amount of bleeding after 2 h postpartum.
