Analysis of Pediatric Health Preservation Thought in Housheng Xunzuan

Abstract: Zhou Chen's "Hou Sheng Xun Zuan" is one of the Ming Dynasty's works on health preservation.The book comprises six volumes and covers nine topics,offering many simple,easy-to-understand health methods tailored to different demographics.Its discussion on pediatric health methods is particularly comprehensive and detailed,showcasing Zhou Chen's forward-thinking in pediatric health.The article thoroughly reviews and discusses the pediatric health content in "Hou Sheng Xun Zuan" from various aspects including preparation for pregnancy in men and women, the ten-month gestation, neonatal care, children's diet, children's daily life, and early education.It distills the essence of pediatric health from the book, providing a reliable reference and inspiration for contemporary pediatric health care.
