Abstract: Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of ointment combined with fascial release surgery in the treatment of postpartum low back pain. Methods From September 2021 to June 2023, 60 patients with postpartum low back pain admitted to our hospital were selected as the study subjects and randomly divided into a conventional treatment group and a plaster and fascia group, with 30 cases in each group. Patients in the conventional treatment group mainly receive conventional treatment. Including conventional application of electrical stimulation, biofeedback, and Kegel training methods. The ointment massage+fascia group received additional ointment massage treatment and fascia release surgery on the basis of the conventional treatment group. Both groups were treated for 4 weeks. Follow up on pain levels was conducted before treatment and at 1, 3, and 6 months of treatment, and the degree of lower back pain was evaluated using the Visual Analog Scale (VAS). Simultaneously evaluate pelvic floor muscle strength and organ prolapse staging (POP-Q) before and after treatment. Results In terms of pain, the comparison of VAS between the 2 groups before treatment, the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05); after 1, 3, and 6 months of treatment, the VAS scores of both groups were lower than those before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); after 1, 3, and 6 months of treatment, the cream mojo+fascia group was better than that of the conventional treatment group (P<0.05). In terms of pelvic floor muscle strength, the difference between the two groups before treatment was not statistically significant (P>0.05); after 4 weeks of treatment, the pelvic floor muscle strength of both groups was higher than that before treatment, and that of the Paste Mo + Fascia group was higher than that of the conventional treatment group (P<0.05). Comparison of POP-Q staging between the two groups before treatment, the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05); after 4 weeks of treatment, the POP-Q staging of the two groups was better than before treatment, and the cream massage + fascia group was better than the conventional treatment group (P<0.05). Conclusion The combination of ointment and fascia release surgery can improve the pain score of postpartum low back pain patients, reduce the degree of visceral prolapse, and improve pelvic floor muscle strength, which is worthy of further research.
