Combined Acupuncture at Yin-Yang Qiao Mai with Floating Needle Therapy for Hemiplegia Gait Rehabilitation: A Randomized Controlled Trial

Abstract: Objective To observe the clinical effect of acupuncture cross pulse and floating needle in hemiplegia patients. Methods A total of 80 patients with stroke hemiplegia lower limb muscle spasm were randomly divided into control group (conventional acupuncture treatment, n=40) and study group (acupuncture cross pulse with floating needle, n=40). To compare the treatment effects between the two groups. Results The clinical efficacy of the study group was higher than that of the control group, and the statistical difference was established (P<0.05).After treatment, the lower limb modified Ashworth spasticity scale score of the study group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).And compared with the control group, the WGS score was significantly reduced and the FAC score was significantly improved. Conclusion Cross pulse with floating needle can effectively improve stroke gait and walking ability.
