The Current Situation and Influencing Factors of Online Appointment Nurses' Willingness to Use “Internet+nursing services” in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region

Abstract: Objective To investigate the current situation of the willingness of online nurses to use “Internet+nursing services” in Inner Mongolia and analyze its influencing factors, so as to provide practical basis for optimizing hospital management and further promoting the sustainable development of “Internet+nursing services”. Methods 479 nurses from 7 leagues and cities in Inner Mongolia were selected to participate in the survey. The general information questionnaire, the nursesʼ cognition questionnaire of “Internet+nursing service”, and the nursesʼ willingness to use the questionnaire of “Internet+nursing service” were used to investigate. Results 91.65% of online nurses knew about “Internet+nursing service”, 52.40% of them were using it, and only 10.02% of them used it every day. The total score of online nurses' willingness to use “Internet+nursing service” was (121.35±19.45). The score of good-perceived benefit dimension was the highest(5.39±0.78) and the score of perceived risk dimension was the lowest(3.52±1.11); The sex, age, educational level, professional title, working years and hospital grade of nurses had no influence on them(P>0.05). Conclusion Home nursing service in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region is immature, and the implementation rate of “Internet plus nursing service” is low. However, online appointment nurses have strong enthusiasm to carry out “Internet + nursing service”. Improving the training system, establishing and improving the assessment and evaluation mechanism may steadily promote the development of “Internet + nursing service” in the district.
