Abstract: Objective To explore and analyze the application of health education based on multimedia video tutorials under wake-up anesthesia in patients with glioma in the language area. Methods A total of 108 patients with brain gliomas in the language area who were treated in First Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University from September 2020 to September 2022 were selected as the research subjects, and divided into the control group (September 2019 to 2020) according to the time of admission and treatment. September), 56 cases, given routine preoperative intervention and health education, observation group (October 2020 to September 2021),52 cases, given health education based on multimedia video tutorials on the basis of control group , and compared the two groups of patients' knowledge of language area glioma, perioperative clinical indicators, intraoperative wake-up complications, daily living ability scores and quality of life scores. Results Compared with before health education, the patients in the two groups had higher scores on the perioperative knowledge of the disease. Compared with the control group, the patients in the observation group had higher scores on the perioperative knowledge of the disease after health education. The difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Compared with the control group, the observation group had a shorter hospital stay and a lower incidence of complications during the wake-up period, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in operation time, tumor exposure time, intraoperative blood loss, and tumor resection degree between the two groups (P>0.05). Compared with preoperative, the two groups had higher ADL scores and higher quality of life scores, and the observation group had higher ADL scores and higher quality of life scores than the control group after surgery, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of health education based on multimedia video tutorials to patients with glioma in the language area under wake-up anesthesia can not only improve the patient's mastery of health knowledge during the perioperative period of the disease, shorten the postoperative hospital stay, and reduce the complications related to the wake-up period during the operation. It also promotes the improvement of patients' ability of daily living and quality of life.
