Abstract: Tuina in the Central Plains is an important branch of tuina in Chinese medicine, and has a unique position as a major influence on the origin and development of tuina. Through the excavation and collation of the writings of tuina practitioners in the Central Plains, the origin of tuina schools was clarified in order to provide reference for the study of regional tuina schools. The results show that many influential practitioners emerged from the long historical development of tuina in the Central Plains from Yin and Shang dynasties to the present day, leaving behind a number of valuable tuina writings and making outstanding contributions to the development of tuina science. The excavation and collation of the writings and academic thoughts of the Central Plains tuina doctors will help promote the inheritance, innovation and development of the Central Plains tuina school.
